The information listed herein relates to the use of this website as well as to all inquiries and purchases, including but not limited to the website, emails, by phone and in person. By using the website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions in this document without limitation or qualification. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our site.

PRIVACY POLICY

UNIQUE ITEMS

Unique items are items that we cannot guarantee that they can be reproduced. When placing this item in your shopping cart, you have not committed to purchasing this item. It is only once you have confirmed the contents of your shopping cart and are transferred to the payment page that you have committed to purchasing this item. At this point we will reserve it for you as you complete your shipping and billing information. If a unique item is in two or more shopping carts, the item will be sold to the first person to confirm the contents of their shopping and successfully completes the payment process.


RETURNS

Before returning a product Please contact us.

REFUNDS

Returns will not be accepted unless approved in writing. Minimum return amount of $50.00 list. Returned goods must be received within 30 days of purchase. To obtain a return authorization, please call 905-793-3994 Ext: 27 . All authorized returns must be shipped FREIGHT PREPAID. A restocking charge of 35% will apply to unused products in their original packaging. Returns of used products are subject to inspection and a restocking charge of 50% or more may apply. Special order, clearance, or non-standard items are not returnable.

CM Machine Services Ltd. has no recourse for damaged products that were shipped collect or third party. In the event of shortage or if damage is detected, in a collect or third party shipment, notify the delivering carrier at once to request an inspection and file a claim promptly. Any delay may cause you a loss. Shortage or damage in shipment does not excuse the buyer from timely and full payment of the invoice. We cannot reimburse claims for shortages or delays caused by the carrier responsible.

If in the event that shortages or damages are detected in a shipment delivered by a Modern Butcher Supply Inc. carrier, please note it on the bill of lading before accepting the delivery and contact Modern Butcher Supply Inc. immediately so that we may initiate a claim. Please keep all packaging for inspection purposes. Apparent packing errors must be reported to us within 3 business days of receipt.

CANCELLATION Equipment

Or work which remains to be furnished under order agreement may be canceled by the buyer only with the express written consent of the Company. In the event of such cancellation, the Company shall be entitled to payment for the cost and expenses incurred by it in connection with the equipment or work so canceled, plus an amount determined by applying the Company's usual rate of profit for similar items to such costs and expenses, or 25% of the balance of the contract price, whichever is greater.

Special Customised Order Refunds

if any equipment was specifically ordered or fabricated to customer requirements and customer wishes a Refund it may be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

BANK ALERT

When we issue a refund or even if your order is declined the banks/credit card companies are NOT returning the money back to your account for 7-10 business days. Since we don't have your money and the banks have it, there is nothing we can do to have them release your money faster.

SHIPPING

All items are shipped via UPS shipping options will be made available to customer at time of checkout or as per agreement by customer and Modern Butcher Supply. Items that are in stock will generally ship within 2-3 business days within Canada and 3 to 5 days within the United States. Items that are made-to-order will be shipped as soon as they are ready. During checkout, made-to-order items will provide a date range for when they will be available.

When ordering multiple items, we will do our best to put all items in one package. Multiple packages will be shipped due to size/weight constraints, shipping locations and made-to-order time frames. Made-to-order items will be shipped as they become available.

DUTIES & TAXES

Sales taxes are extra, where applicable duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payment processing is handled by First Data (www.firstdata.com) and are under their Terms and Conditions.

The prices shown on our Website are subject to change without notice.

Price of items is indicated on website and Quote proposals when provided by CM Machine Services Ltd.

Currency

In Canadian Funds.

INTEREST CHARGES.

Gold Members - or Customers on Terms - will be liable for interest to be charged at the rate of 2% per month on unpaid balance for any payment not made within their Net Terms agreement and days of the date of invoices.
